Blinds & motorised shading in Faerie Glen

An older, more established suburb than Boardwalk Meander, with a ridge line of view homes and newer estate-style pockets built into the higher ground.

Timber venetian, up closeSlats tilted rather than closed — light steered instead of switched off, which is usually what an established ridge home wants.

Faerie Glen is a different kind of measure to Boardwalk Meander, and it's a useful contrast. Much of the suburb is established, with gardens that have had the years to grow proper shade — but the homes along the ridge, and the newer clusters and estate pockets built into the higher stands, face a similar problem to any new build: big view-facing glass with a lot of unmanaged afternoon sun, and often not much tree cover directly in front of the window that matters.

What tends to get specified here

Because Faerie Glen mixes older freehold stands with newer complexes and estate pockets, we treat every measure on its own merits rather than assuming one specification fits the whole suburb.
